This amendment is to clarify and answer questions as follows: Solicitation close date and time is 8/28/2020 1:00pm EST. Question: The statement of work doesn't mention an interval for the 7 samplings during the course of the year. How will this be determined and will we be able to draw all 15 locations in one visit? Answer: The visits will be approximately 1 ½ to 2 months apart. The Vendor will be called upon when the automated system detects a possible critical water supply issue. For example, dialysis system detects a possible issue. The Tester will need to take possible samples Monday through Sunday. i.e. if the equipment detects a possible issue on Saturday, then the Tester will need to take samples on Sunday and results need to be reported to the hospital on Monday. This is to prevent a shut down of the hospital. The Vendor is an Independent Tester, beyond the Manufacturer s report, to ensure equipment is working properly and within standards. Question: Will the person taking the samples be around COVID-19 patients. Answer: No. Testing areas are in separate areas away from the patients.
