This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Varian Medical Systems, 3100 Hansen Way, Palo Alto, CA. 94304 to obtain Licenses for the Eclipse Advanced Planner and for the MPC ICVI for the VA Boston Healthcare System. Due to the proprietary nature of the software, Varian Medical Systems is the only vendor that can provide the software and software licenses. Since the intent is to procure this on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Beta-SAM. The applicable NAICS code is 511210 with a $41.5MIL size standard. The FSC is 7030. The authority for this action is FAR 6.302.1-1 Only One Responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.
