The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to negotiate a sole source award for a 12 month base and (4) annual option years for Annual Service and Support on Xecan Smart RFID Patient Verification Systems located at the VA Medical Center Boston, MA (Jamaica Plains Campus): MYRFIDSPACE Inc./XECAN located at 275 Grove Street, Suite 400, Building #2, Newton, MA is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for this equipment and owns proprietary software. Due to their proprietary software and technology, they are the only vendor that will be able to service these machines as the Authorized Service Provider. Since the intent is to procure these services on a sole source basis, no solicitation will be posted to Contract Opportunities.
