This is not a solicitation. The West Haven VA Medical Center (VAMC) is requesting to rent a mobile pharmacy compounding center that is compliant with U.S. Pharmacopeia Convention (USP) Chapters 797 and 800. The VAMC address is as follows: 950 Campbell Ave., West Haven, CT 06516 The mobile pharmacy compounding center will be needed for a total of five years (base plus four option years). The mobile unit is needed on site, and fully functional, by 6/15/2020. The unit shall include containment primary engineering controls, containment secondary engineering controls, ante-room(s), handwashing sinks, eyewashes, and storage space to meet USP 797 and 800 requirements. Fresh water and sanitary holding tanks must also be included. A back-up generator is needed to support the entire unit. The unit must have connections for site electrical and IT tie-in connections. The Contractor will be responsible for providing all preventative maintenance, as well as maintenance schedule. The Contractor must provide 24 hours per day, 7 days a week support in emergency troubleshooting and repairs. All onsite training and training documentation must be provided. All cleaning requirements must be included. Finally, the complete commissioning, decommissioning, and removal of the unit is required at the end of the contract timeline. Delivery of the mobile unit and final placement must be scheduled so as not to impact normal hospital operations. This will require the unit to be delivered and placed either Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:00pm to 6:00am or Friday after 6:00pm through Monday at 6:00am.
