The contractor shall provide all the equipment, material and labor to supply and deliver fuel to the above ground storage tanks (AST's) located at the Medical Center. Diesel Fuel used for Boilers and Generators; AST-1 & 2: Winter Blend Diesel Fuel. Sulfur content is required to be ultra-low sulfur distillate (ULSD). Winter-blend being delivered must have a temperature range meeting -21 deg F. Fuel must meet federal standards. Sulfur content of the ULSD shall not exceed 15 ppm (0.0015 % by weight). The following fuel gallons are needed for each tank: Tank #1- 17,000 gallons of Winter-Blend Diesel Fuel. Total Gallons of Winter Blend Diesel Fuel for Tank #1= 17,000. The VA Medical Center in Manchester, NH has two fuel storage tanks located on the campus at 718 Smyth Road. These fuel storage tanks supply ultra-low sulfur backup fuel for the VA Medical Center (VAMC) Boiler and Generators. It is the Contractor s responsibility to provide a fuel that will assure correct engine operation at the expected minimum temperatures and under the given geographical and other local conditions.
