The Department of Veteran Affairs intends to solicit for the following service: The contractor will perform annual Boiler plant safety device safety device testing inspections at the Boston Healthcare System, West Roxbury Division. Contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, tools and special equipment required to perform the work. The boiler plant is equipped with 5 Cleaver Brooks duel fuel firetube boilers. The boilers are equipped with parallel position combustion controls and Fireye EB-160 BMS systems. The plant is equipped with a tray type DA tank and a condensate tank and a backup fuel oil system. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Priced contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsive offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the government in terms of price and other considered factors.
