Pre-Solicitation Notice of Intent to negotiate a SDVOSB sole source with Crosstown Courier, 165 Front Street, Chicopee, MA 01013-2869, a VetBiz verified SDVOSB, to obtain courier services for the Department of Veterans Affairs facilities. Services shall include transportation of specimens and other delivery services. VAAR 819.7007 allows sole source awards to verified SDVOSB firms provided that the stated criteria are met. Crosstown courier is the incumbent that is currently performing courier services. A Justification and Approval was completed to describe the SDVOSB Sole Source Justification and how the required criteria are met. The J&A will be posted to FBO after award as required. This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit directly with Crosstown Courier for a Firm Fixed Priced contract for a 5-year period of performance to commence on or about 11/1/2019. Services shall be provided in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The applicable NAICS code is 492110 with a 1,500 Employee Size Standard. The FSC/PSC is R602.
