07/17/20 09:53 AM Please note that a quote must be sent to deidra.thomas@va.gov by 10:00AM (EST) today -- 07/17/20, to be considered for evaluation according to the stated criteria, primarily being "best value" after technical criteria and ARO capability is met, as stated on the RFQ. 07/16/20 Please email quotes and questions to deidra.thomas@va.gov All quotes due by 07/17/20 at 10:00 AM 07/16/20 This RFQ is being updated to include a vendor question and response: Question: Will the VA move the equipment from the receiving warehouse to the eye clinic or will we need to move it between the buildings into the exam rooms? Responses from Local Customer: 07/16/20 Response 2: VA warehouse personnel can assist with movement of palletized goods once received at the VA medical center, however, contractor has responsibility for equipment until installed and accepted Response 1: In general, all equipment has to be received at our warehouse for tracking of equipment. Our expectation would be that the vendor would unbox, uncrate and install. That being said, if the equipment is palletized, we could request warehouse assistance to move equipment from the warehouse to the install location (in this case that is in Building 2). The vendor would be responsible for removal of all trash related to the boxing/packing materials. Request for multi-brand Optometry Lane Furniture/Equipment for the Optometry Clinic at VAMC Bedford MA. This request is for "Brand Name Only" products as specified in SOW and RFQ Stock# Itemization. Request includes installation, service, maintenance, and application supports for the exam chair, tonometer beam splitter, long observer tube, and phorapter as detailed in the SOW.
