The VA/VHA is assessing a potential enterprise-wide single requirements contract for KaVo dental handpieces or equal, with firm-fixed-price orders covering air/electric high- and low-speed handpieces, motors, polishers, scalers, surgical attachments, accessories, and repair packages. Offered products must meet the listed salient characteristics and will be evaluated on design, performance, warranty, maintenance, and ability to provide uninterrupted national supply. Delivery would be required to VA medical centers and facilities throughout CONUS and OCONUS, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Guam, Philippines, American Samoa, and Northern Mariana Islands. The anticipated period of performance is a 12-month base period plus four 12-month option periods from award, subject to annual performance review and continued need.
