The Department of Veterans Affairs Food Security Office, in partnership with the Office of Rural Health, is expanding food locker programming (NouRISH) to improve Veteran food security through an interdisciplinary approach. The contractor will furnish, deliver, and install smart locker food systems—including software, warranty, and maintenance—at VA Community Based Outpatient Clinics or other VA-owned facilities. The contractor must supply all materials, transportation, and expertise for proper installation and consult with site points of contact to verify readiness and safety. Performance locations will be rural and highly rural VA sites, with delivery and site specifications established at the order level.
