Amendment 1 is to extend the due date. The Government requires contractor support with Furniture Purchase, shipping, furniture removal and furniture assembly. The contractor will remove all existing task chairs at each workstation and office and discards them at an offsite dump site. All other criteria set forth in attached specification (Attachment A Proposed Furniture and Attachment B Technical Furniture Specification) will describe the range of components which the Government expects to order. All products listed in the table below are to be delivered and installed at the Department of Veteran Affairs building located at 810 Vermont Ave 7th FL NW Washington, DC 20420. The contractor shall deliver and assemble all new chairs in accordance with furniture specifications/instructions. The contractor shall provide 120 task chairs with ten (10) of them being allocated for our taller employees. See below the following features. Mesh Back and Seat Color: All Black Seat Height Range: 16 – 23” Standard Tilt Adjustable Lumbar Support Adjustable Posture Fit Adjustable Arm Rest Weight Capacity: 350LB - 500LB Overall Chair Width: 27 - 29” Overall Chair Height: 41 - 43” Seat Width: 20 - 21” Seat Depth: 17 - 18” Back Suspension The contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, equipment, and expertise necessary to perform the assembly of furniture. The contractor shall work in coordination with the Government.
