Sources Sought Notice DESCRIPTION The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) is seeking information and sources capable of providing the services described below. The purpose of this notice is to gather capabilities and market information pertinent for acquisition planning. The responses to this Sources Sought Notice will contribute to determining the method of procurement and identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME This Sources Sought does not constitute a request for quotes. Submission of any information in response to this Sources Sought Notice is purely voluntary. The Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology (OIT), End User Services (EUS), Space and Facilities Management (SFM) is responsible for the Safety and Physical Security of the Martinsburg Capital Region Readiness Center (CRRC) located at 221 Butler Avenue, Building 511, Martinsburg WV 25404. The CRRC is a 65,000 SF, Level 3 facility that maintains approximately 99 high voltage electrical devices. In accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), NFPA 70E, SFM has a requirement to procure professional services to complete a 5-year review of the existing electrical Arc Flash (AF) hazard analysis study. Information from this study will be utilized to improve the safety and reliability of CRRC electrical systems and bring CRRC s system into compliance with federal safety regulations.
