Amendment 1: Extends the due date to account for the holiday on 1/15, All other items remain the same. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, tools, materials, parts, and supervision required to install an approximately 1,655 linear foot, “Fall Protection Mobile Safety Guardrail Systems,” This system shall be completely free-standing, non-penetrating into the roof surface, and meet OSHA requirements for Walking and Working surfaces and Guardrail systems. The Contractor shall install anchors and support structures as per manufactures’ design specifications and requirements, ensuring their integrity. The Contractor shall use best practices to install and secure the Fall Protection Mobile Safety Guardrail System, protecting workers from falling off the roof. The Contractor shall keep this equipment maintained in peak operation condition in accordance with the manufactures’ specifications. It is suggested that contractors attend pre-bid meeting and site walkthrough prior to soliciting. The Contractor shall coordinate all equipment selection and installation with VA-HITC Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Project Manager (PM), and others VA-HITC Representative(s) prior to starting this project.
