The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Southwest Solutions Group, 2535-B E, State Hwy 121, Suite 110, Lewisville, Texas 75056 for maintenance service for the Kardex Remstar brand vertical lift storage module for The Austin Information Technology Center (AITC). Southwest Solutions Group is a Kardex Remstar dealer and is required to participate in company sponsored certification training programs for all sales and services personnel. Kardex Remstar has elected to sell their products and service parts only through Kardex Remstar factory authorized dealers. Southwest Solutions Group is the exclusive authorized factory sales and service dealer for all Office & Government Kardex Remstar equipment in the States of Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. This proposed contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 entitled, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements and in accordance with VAAR 819.502-2 entitled, Total small business set-aside .
