The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Contracting Office Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC) Frederick, MD, on behalf of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Human Resources and Administration (OHRA), Operations, Security and Preparedness (OSP), proposes to enter into a sole source contract with PAE Professional Services LLC (PAE PS) located at 7799 Leesburg Pike, Suite 300 North, Falls Church, VA 22043; (SAMS Unique Entity ID#: HHB2BNB4PNY3; CAGE: 1CA36) under FAR 13- Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). In accordance with (IAW) FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available due to scheduled Accreditation Site Visit scheduled for 9 and 10 January 2023 (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name or industrial mobilization). PAE Professional Services LLC (PAE PS) is the accrediting Agency’s authorized vendor for providing required security scans for secure workspaces. PAE is a provider of this service to the accrediting agency and has no authorized resellers in the marketplace. PAE provides technical support and subject matter expertise through unique and distinctive certifications, which are accepted by the Federal Government Accreditation Official (AO) to analyze security risks and recommend mitigation strategies needed to obtain accreditation for the secure workspace and facility.
