The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Mental Health & Suicide Prevention (OMHSP) has a requirement for 15” cable style gun locks, with an imprint of the Veterans Crisis Line (VCL) information on the lock, a wallet card, VCL tag (sticker) on the cable, two (2) keys, and instructions for the locks. The cable lock must be approved by the California Department of Justice (DOJ) for use in firearms.
