The contract type is a single-award, firm-fixed-price purchase order. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information and Technology (OI&T), Information Technology & Operations (ITOPS) requires software training for the following BMC software products currently in use at the VA. The Contractor shall provide a live virtual course instruction and hands-on practice in the setup, administration, and customization options of the distributed systems Control-M solution. Control-M is a monitoring and management tool for the enterprise batch-scheduling environment. It allows users to manage job processing across all distributed systems platforms supported by instances of Control-M/Server and Control-M/Agent. Control-M software makes it easy to define, schedule, manage and monitor application workflows, ensuring visibility and reliability, and improving SLAs. Control-M users can monitor and manage multi-application workflows from a single point of control with full access to logs and output. Selected trainees and users shall receive live virtual trainings in the creation of job processing definitions, as required to support administrative functions. This course will prepare users for the BMC Associate level certification, along with enhancing their skillset to provide sound service and increase efficiency with the Control-M software.
