Page 2 of 2 The purpose of this RFI, is identify SDVOSB, VOSB, or other small businesses capable and interested in supporting a future VA Lodging, meals, and training classrooms requirement. Description: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Law Enforcement Training Center (VA LETC) provides training to federal police officers working in health care or services-oriented environments. Students who attend VA-LETC training are provided lodging and meals that are inclusive of the course tuition. The VA-LETC has a potential future requirement for overnight accommodations, meals, and training classrooms within five (5) miles from Northern Indiana VA Healthcare System located at 1700 East 38th Street, Marion, IN 46953. The Northern Indiana VA has agreed to host classes locally to serve VISN 10 and other VISN s within driving distance. The Government anticipates a need for 800 room-nights per year. Service/rooms Specifications: The following are anticipated as the room requirements (lodging) for this upcoming requirement: Single Occupancy Telephone Services for Local Calls Linen Packet (Sheets, pillow, towels, etc) Laundry Facility on Premises Complimentary Internet Access Complimentary Parking On Site Dining Facility (for meals for up to 40 students) On Site available Training Classrooms (secondary due to limited size of Northern Indiana VA classrooms) The Government has determined that a venue like a local college or university provides an optimal solution.
