This modification will enable the Chief Acquisition Officer (CAO) and Senior Procurement Executive (SPE) to provide advice and assistance to the head of the Department of Veterans Affairs and other agency officials to ensure that the mission of the executive agency is achieved through the management of the agency’s acquisition activities. The authority for these actions is Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 52.212-4(c) Changes.
