The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC) is issuing this Sources Sought (SS)/Special Notice in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 15.201(e), as a means of conducting market research to identify qualified contractors with the capability and the resources to meet the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Credentialing and Privilege Office has a requirement for CLINICAL COMPETENCE ASSESSMENT. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 541990. The Product Service Code is B550. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. This is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP). This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked proprietary will be handled accordingly. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract, nor does the Government intends to pay for any information submitted as a result of this request. The Government does not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of the information being requested or, reimburse expenses incurred for responses to this RFI. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) needs a vendor who can provide the services as described in the Draft Performance Work Statement attached to this notice. If your organization has the potential capability to provide the service(s), please provide the following information: 1) Organization Name and Address, Point of Contact (POC) name, Email Address, Website Address, Telephone Number, Data Universal Number System (DUNS) Number, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code, Business size and type of ownership for the organization. 2) Tailored capability statements addressing the particulars of this effort, with appropriate documentation supporting claims of organizational and staff capability. Alternate NAICS codes or PSC codes that might be applicable to this requirement. If significant subcontracting or teaming is anticipated in order to deliver technical capability, organizations should address the administrative and management structure of such arrangements. VA does not anticipate providing clarification/information on specific requirements until its next public notice. VA will not be providing any specifics to questions submitted in response to this request.
