This modification to the existing contract will avoid a gap in service for the Office of Connect Care until the recompetes are awarded. This action is to procure commercial items via a extension of the current sole source to Iron Bow Technologies for continued support for the Office of Connect Care Equipment and Services by a supplemental modification. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1 entitled, "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements".
