NOTICE OF INTENT. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Strategic Acquisition Center (SAC) Intends to solicit and negotiate a sole-source, firm fixed price Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with Draeger Inc., (Draeger) 31355 Quarry Rd, Telford Pennsylvania 18969-1042, in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) subpart 13.501, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The BPA s anticipated effective date is February 1, 2022 for a five-year ordering period. This BPA is for the continued usage of ongoing support required to maintain functionality and operations of Anesthesia Record Keepers (ARK), which uses Innovian Anesthesia Software and Hardware. Draeger s software and hardware is proprietary. This requirement will continue the maintenance of the existing ARK services including software updates, upgrades, scheduled maintenance, unscheduled maintenance, technical support, data base administration support and training. The NAICS code is 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services with a small business size standard of $30 Million. This is not a request for offers. Per FAR 5.207(c)(16)(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
