Description This update is to connect the previous Pre-Solicitation Notice using the number 36C10F19Q0102. All content remains the same. This procurement is a 100% Total Set-Aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). This is first stage of the forthcoming Request for Proposal (RFP) for a construction contract for the expansion of the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Project Description This project will develop approximately 15 acres of land to provide 20,422 gravesites, including both casket and cremation sites. The project will include 6,840 standard-size pre-placed crypts, 560 oversize pre-placed crypts, 3,625 in-ground cremains burial sites, a 9,386-niche Columbarium, and two Memorial Walls providing a total of 182 markers. The project will also add a Committal Shelter, extended roadways, utilities, lighting, signage, landscaping, GPS/GIS and irrigation in support of the expansion area. The project will also provide the following; expanded cortege lanes and bypass lane; upgrade the existing irrigation system to include a new pump station, two new wells, and new controls; replace pavers in an existing Columbarium with concrete pavement; mill and overlay all existing asphalt roads; provide curb and gutter for existing roads; make minor renovations to two existing Committal Shelters; replace all existing Cemetery signage; provide a new salt storage bin at the Maintenance Building; repave the existing Memorial Walk. Furthermore, there are four bid Add Alternates consisting of renovations to the existing Public Information Center, replacement of stamped concrete pavement at a second existing Columbarium, renovations to the existing Administration Building, and replacement of pavers with concrete at the existing Carillon and Flag Assembly Area. Contract duration will be 940 calendar days. There is an Early Turnover (ETO) component consisting of the Columbarium, new roads/infrastructure supporting the Columbarium, and Memorial Walls/Memorial Walk. Duration of the ETO portion of the contract will be 540 calendar days. The estimated magnitude for this project is between $20,000,000 and $50,000,000. No RFIs are accepted at this time.
