B.2 STATEMENT OF WORK The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration has a requirement to 1) Remove four (4) unserviceable security cameras. 2) Purchase replacements, installation, and in- service testing of new equipment at the Columbia Regional Office, 6437 Garners Ferry Road, Columbia, SC 29209. Removed items will be given to building management for disposition. We also request the purchase and delivery of additional internal and external cameras for the facility to keep as spares should an event arises. BACKGROUND: The Columbia Veteran Affairs Regional Office (VARO) currently has a Bosch security system with three (3) exterior and one (1) interior security camera that are unserviceable possibly due to a lightning strike. The current system is used to monitor select areas in the VARO as well as the outside parking lots 24/7, 365 days a year. Interior cameras have 360 recording capability with the exterior having only PTZ capabilities. SCOPE: The awarded vendor will provide: Replacement items, Spare Items, personnel, transportation, and necessary tools to provide removal of existing equipment and installation of new equipment to the physical addresses of the Columbia VA Regional Office. Cable, and routing of necessary cable, Current cameras are connected to security system through Category 6 U/UTP Copper Cable. Lodging and sustenance expenses of assigned team.
