PRE-SOLICITATION: The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration, Veteran Readiness and Employment Division (VR&E), Wilmington, DE has a one-time requirement for the procurement of diesel mechanic tools for employment. Requirement is brand name or equal (Snap-On Tools). Competition will be set-aside for Small Business due to the Non-Manufacturer Rule under NAICS code 332216. Price evaluation of 10% will be given to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and 5% will be given to Veteran-Owned Small Businesses that can be verified in the Vendor Information Portal at https://www.vetbiz.va.gov. The requirement will be posted to Contract Opportunities on or about December 8, 2022. Formal quotes will be due to the Contracting Office NLT Monday January 9, 2023, at 0:00 AM Central Standard Time (CST). Solicitation documents may be obtained electronically at https://beta.sam.gov.
