GENERAL: This is a pre-solicitation notice only and does NOT constitute a solicitation; accordingly, no response is due at this time, nor will any questions of a technical or contractual nature be answered. Those questions will only be answered via an amendment to the solicitation once it is issued. The Veterans Benefits Administration anticipates issuing a solicitation for the following project. PROJECT TITLE: Boiler Replacement for the Jackson, MS. VA Regional Office. PROJECT SCOPE: The contractor will be responsible to provide all labor, materials, tools, equipment, and supervision necessary as outlined below: The Government has a requirement to dismantle and remove, and replace the existing antiquated boiler system at the Veterans Affairs Regional Office (VARO), Jackson, MS. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Veterans Affairs Regional Office, 1600 East Woodrow Wilson Ave, Jackson, MS. 39216. This procurement is a 100% Total Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-aside. In accordance with Veterans Administration Acquisition Regulations (VAAR) 836.204, the project magnitude is estimated to be between $200,000 and $250,000. The NAICS Code is 238220, Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors, with a size standard of $16.5 Million. The solicitation will be released on or about December 06, 2021, with a proposal due date on or about January 4, 2022. A pre-proposal site visit is scheduled for on or about December 14, 2021. Technical documents will be available through the secure website via beta.sam.gov. Offerors are responsible for obtaining the RFP and all related documents. It is also the offeror s responsibility to monitor the site for the release of the RFP, and amendments and any related information. SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT: Offerors shall be required to have a DUNS number and an active registration in SAM, System for Award Management (beta.sam.gov) in order to conduct business with the Federal Government.
