Small trees and shrubs, as required if encroaching on sidewalk. 2: Question: Section 5.4.1 What is the frequency of the pine straw application? 2: Answer: The requirement is to maintain the current in-place mulch at a level of approximate 3 inches. No mulch is required for areas that currently do not have mulch in-place. There is no requirement to specifically apply pine straw. 3: Question: The previous contract was for 8 months and no winter service. The new bid calls for a 12-month service. What will be the required frequency during the winter months? What will be the maintenance requirements during the winter months? 3: Answer: The frequency of services required is every other week from March through October and one service at the beginning of November and one service at end of February.
