This requirement is for labor, supervision and materials to run CAT6 cabling from IT closet patch panel to ceiling mounted WIFI Access Points (AP) within the existing infrastructure. The contractor will also mount and connect the WIFI access points. Locations of the WIFI Access Points will be broken down into sectors. Each sector of WIFI Access Points will be cabled from the point of WIFI Access Point installation to the respective IDF data closet. Vendor will provide network cable from the WIFI Access Points to the designated Data closet. Vendor will mark/label both ends of the CAT6 cabling and ensure cable end is terminated with RJ45 connectors to be plugged into WIFI Access Points. Patch panel connection of CAT6 will be hardwired. All work is required to be completed after 6:00 pm Monday Friday.
