R614--Document Destruction Services Request for Information
The Department of Veterans Affairs requires on-site confidential shredding services at the Providence VBA Regional Office located at 380 Westminster Street, Providence, RI 02903. The contractor must provide scheduled service every two weeks and up to three unscheduled services per contract year, with a monthly volume of up to two 95-gallon bins. The base period of performance is 12 months, with four one-year option periods. All shredding must occur on-site at the loading dock, witnessed by a VA employee, and comply with VA Directive 6371 for interim and final destruction. The contractor is responsible for providing secure, lockable bins and must submit a Certificate of Destruction on the same day of service.
