The veteran wall art was designed through the architectural and engineering design team and dispersed throughout the second and third floor of building 47, it is also the focal point of both entry ways on the second and third floor. In FY 2023 all locations with the current VA mission statement were directed to replace any wall art with the new VA mission statement. The assigned organization constructing the new wall art will create and deliver the new pieces to the VA Regional Office (VARO), 9500 Bay Pines Blvd., St. Petersburg, FL 33744. The current Mission Statement To fulfill President Lincoln s promise to care for him who shall have borne the battle, and for his widow, and his orphan. Is to be replaced with the new VA Mission Statement that was established by Secretary McDonough on 16 March 2023, To fulfill President Lincoln s promise to care for those who have served in our nation s military and for their families, caregivers and survivors. The contractor will provide the decorative laminated 9/16 Annealed with polished edges with a captive hook mounting system wall art with updated VA Mission Statement for the second floor (see attached photo of the graphic). Installation is not included, SSD personnel will be installing the wall art. The order quantity is one wall art that consists of 5 glass panels each measured at 57 7/8 W X 60 H and weight approximately 200 lbs per panel. This wall art needs to be able to fit the existing frame (see attached photo) that is mounted to the wall. Contractor will ship the item to the St. Petersburg Regional Office in a wooden crate to ensure no damage. If damaged, then contractor will provide replacement free of charge.
