Those questions will only be answered via an amendment to the solicitation once it is issued. The Veterans Benefits Administration anticipates issuing a solicitation for the following project. 1. Title of Project: REFURBISH TWO ELEVATORS AT HOUSTON, TX VETERAN AFFAIRS REGIONAL OFFICE. 2. Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide all services, equipment, labor, facilities, transportation, and supervision to address our elevator needs to the Department of Veterans Affairs, Houston Regional Office. This is a brand name or equal requirement. All equipment proposed must comply with the approved Product List Elevator Control System Components. The product list will be with the solicitation. The building contains two elevators serial numbers US101863 and US101864. These TKE elevators require mechanical and electrical components being replaced and/or refurbished. Work will be in accordance with all contract documents (drawings/specifications). All work shall meet or exceed all applicable codes, standards and regulations as outlined in ASME A17.1. Work will include all associated mechanical, electrical, etc., for a complete job. This contract shall not require access to a VA system or VA sensitive information (e.g., system administrator privileged access to a VA system, or contractor systems or processes that utilize VA sensitive information). 3. Location of Work: Houston VA Regional Office, Houston, TX Machine Room.
