The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Contracting Office has issued a limited source award to GSA Contract Holder Johnson Controls Inc. for the digital migration, physical upgrade, and continued preventative maintenance of the Physical Access Control System (PACS) at the VA Hartford Regional Office to ensure compatibility with the VHA Newington Campus within which the Regional Office is located. This award is for a base year (12 Months) with four (4) potential option years to be exercised at the discretion of the government. The authority for this action is FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B), Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement for possible consideration in future procurements by the Government to Thomas.Landers@va.gov no later than 10:00AM EST 11/30/2024.
