The VA OIT Connectivity and Collaboration Services, Core Provisioning Mobility Services is conducting a Sources Sought Notice to inform acquisition strategy for commercially available Low Earth Orbit encrypted and non-encrypted satellite internet hardware, subscriptions, connectivity, monitoring, warranty, logistics, and technical support. The requirement includes fixed and mobile LEO solutions for primary or backup connectivity, degraded environments, disaster response, and mobile command use, while non-encrypted services exclude on-site implementation labor, site surveys, construction, cabling, mounting, facility modification, and site restoration. Operational responsibility for existing LEO service accounts and supported systems will transition to this effort. Services support VA medical centers, outpatient clinics, field and program offices, and remote users across the United States, Guam, Saipan, American Samoa, the Philippines, and Puerto Rico. Interested parties are requested to submit a concise capability statement of no more than seven pages covering company information, capability and reseller relationships, commercially available plan and service options, acquisition recommendations, NAICS 517410 alignment, recommended contract type and pricing methodology, and a rough order of magnitude; this notice is for planning only and does not constitute a solicitation.
