This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for a non-competitive requirement in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 6.302-1 entitled, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The proposed source for this action is Aperta, 626 N. Harrison Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63122. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ); the number is 36C10B26Q0007. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Procurement, Acquisition and Logistics, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown NJ intends to enter into a contract on a basis other than full and open competition for the Aperta software applications. The TAC intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price (FFP) contract with a period of performance consisting of a 12-month base period and four (4) 12-month option periods to Aperta, 626 N. Harrison Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63122.
