Synopsis- Notice of Intent to Sole Source. The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the intent of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Technology Acquisition Center to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract with Document Storage Systems, Inc. (DSS) located at 12575 US Hwy 1 Suite 200 , Juno Beach, FL, 33408-2478 for brand name DSS Infusion Therapy Manager software licenses and support. The product is proprietary from the manufacturer DSS. This sole source action is in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The North American Industry Classification System code for this acquisition is 513210 Software Publishers, with a size standard of $47 million. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements as stated in the attached draft PWS, then said firm must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and services to the Contract Specialist William Waterhouse by 10:00am EST on 07/21/2025. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the stated requirements. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the Contracting Officer will proceed with the sole source negotiation with DSS. However, responses received by 10:00am EST on 07/21/2025 will be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
