The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) is seeking information regarding the software renewal of the GetWell Network (GWN) Pathway Edition and Digital Whiteboard (1 Year License; per bed per year; Includes Internet and Interfaces) currently in use within Salisbury, NC VA Medical Center. GWN is a patient care system that provides information to inpatients (and in limited cases outpatients) about their condition, medication, care plan, and educational resources during their hospital stay, allowing inpatients the opportunity to become involved in their care plan. This product has a two-way integration with VA's Electronic Health Record System, Veterans Information Systems and Technology Architecture (VistA) Computerized Patient Record System (CPRS), as well as meal-ordering. This is a Request For Information (RFI) only and is limited to ten pages. Do not submit a proposal or quote. There is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI. Your response to this RFI will be treated only as information for the Government to consider. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI. This request does not constitute a solicitation for proposals or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a contract. No funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for this effort. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted, or competition sensitive information contained in their response. The Government does not intend to pay for the information submitted in response to this RFI. Page limit (excluding PWS feedback) is 10 pages. Software shall provide the required Hospital Level 7 interfaces concurrent with features already described. Interfaces are required by VA because they allow clinical and administrative data to be transferred between the IPCS software and VistA/CPRS. Interface shall operate bidirectionally with VA's VistA/CPRS application for patient information, while providing patient public internet access. Software shall provide bedside access to public internet and not rely upon VA's internal network which cannot provide public access to the internet.
