Do not submit a quote or a response. This RFI is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered a Request for Quotation. Additionally, there is no obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any products or services described in this RFI. You will not be entitled to payment for direct or indirect costs that you incur in responding to this RFI. This request does not constitute a solicitation for quotes or the authority to enter into negotiations to award a task order. No funds have been authorized, appropriated or received for this effort. This notice is posted as an amendment to the original RFI issued on 5/17/2024, for the purpose of informing potential vendors of the intended outcome of the subject requirement. At this time, based on the complexity of the Governance requirements for AI being established across the Government and within VA, and based on the thoughtful responses to the RFI, VA has determined it will need more time to develop a long-term strategy for AI pilots within VA which cannot be completed by the end of this fiscal year. Thus, this request will be deferred into FY25. VA will provide additional information as soon as it s available.
