The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology, Development, Security, and Operations, Solution Delivery, Telecommunication Office (TBO) requires high quality, effective, and efficient mobile device services to VA Medical Centers, Community Based Outpatient Clinics, field and program offices and other remote users that are geographically dispersed throughout the state of Alaska. These services for 20 Dual SIM capable smart phones include the availability of continuous wireless telecommunications services to include unlimited telephone/voice (including voicemail), texts, and internet data to designated VA staff within the geographic areas identified. It has been determined that GCI Communication Corp. (GCI) is the only wireless mobility provider that has the ability to meet these requirements in the State of Alaska.
