Page 2 of 2 US Department of Veterans Affairs SPOK Pager Lease and Support Services This Combined Synopsis/Pre-Solicitation notification is associated with Request for Information/Sources Sought notification, 36C10B21Q0564_1. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Procurement, Acquisition, and Logistics, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey, intends to enter a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for SPOK Pager Lease and Support Services. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology (OIT) Development, Security and Operations (DevSecOps) Solution Delivery (SD) Telecommunication Provisioning Office (TPO) has a requirement to renew leasing and support services for deployed paging solution at several VA Medical Centers. The intended sole source award will be a firm-fixed price contract with SPOK, Inc., located at 5911 Kingstowne Village Parkway, 6th Floor, Alexandria, VA 22315-4644. The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 entitled, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. However, in accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16(ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 517312. The anticipated award date of on or about October 1, 2021. This notification shall close on September 29, 2021 at 13:00 ET.
