Page 2 of 2 US Department of Veterans Affairs American Messaging Pager Lease and Support Services This Combined Synopsis/Pre-Solicitation notification is associated with Request for Information/Sources Sought notification, 36C10B21Q0562_1. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Procurement, Acquisition, and Logistics, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey, intends to enter into a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for American Messaging Pager Lease and Support Services. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information and Technology (OIT) Development, Security and Operations (DevSecOps) Solution Delivery (SD) Telecommunication Provisioning Office (TPO) has a requirement to renew leasing and support services for deployed paging solution at several VA Medical Centers. The intended sole source award will be a firm-fixed price contract with American Messaging Services, LLC, located at 1720 Lakepointe Drive, Suite 100, Lewisville, TX 75057. Per Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1), which states For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. However, in accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16)(i), all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The North American Industrial Classification (NAICS) for this effort is 517312. The anticipated award date of on or about October 1, 2021. This notification shall close on September 28, 2021 at 3:00 PM EST.
