Based on ongoing market research efforts, VA has determined that 4Cast software is the only software capable of meeting VA s requirements which include the following: Web based application with 24/7 availability and support; Off the shelf design integrating VA accounting structure, including standard general ledger, specific purpose funding categories, and VA specific appropriations and funds; Modules allowing budget and business planning at the service (department/unit) level using VA organizational structure to assign business plans and route those plans for approval using workflows; Dynamic reporting modules focused on VA full time equivalent employee (FTEE) monitoring (cumulative and non-cumulative), head count, overtime, budget projections, tactical objective status, and burn rates.
