Synopsis- Notice of Intent to Sole Source The purpose of this synopsis is to announce the Veterans Affairs Department of Veterans Affairs, Technology Acquisition Center intent to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price sole source contract with Prevail Health Solutions LLC located at 1105 West Chicago Avenue #203, Chicago, IL 60642 for the existing Vets Prevail infrastructure to build and house the AboutFace Engagement Intervention and to provide trained peer specialists to provide outreach and support to users of the intervention. The Government intends to negotiate solely with Prevail Health Solutions LLC per FAR 6.302-5 entitled, Authorized or Required by Statute . For this action, 38 U.S.C. 8127(c), known as the Veterans First Contracting Program provides the authority to directly contract with a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or a Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB). Prevail Health is a Vendor Information Pages (VIP) certified SDVOSB and is the only technically qualified SDVOSB with the ability to support, modify, and embed AboutFace onto the Vets Prevail program, which provides access to a large pre-existing pool of Veterans and has built-in functionality for peer support coaching of Veterans that can be integrated into the clinical intervention. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541720, with a size standard of $22 million. No solicitation package will be issued. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotations.
