This is a Combined Synopsis for Commercial services in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) subpart 12.6 and subpart 5.207. This notice does not in itself represent the issuance of a formal request for proposal/quote and is not intended to be taken as such. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Procurement, Acquisition and Logistics (OPAL), Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, NJ 07724 intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract, issued on a sole source basis, to Upgrade the existing Trane Summit BAS software with the Trane Tracer Ensemble software, at the VA Caribbean Healthcare System in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The period of performance shall be 120 days from the date of award. The Statutory Authority for this effort falls under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13.501 entitled, Special Documentation Requirements. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 334512 which have a small business size standard of 500 employees.
