Page 3 of 3 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ); the solicitation number is 36C10B19Q0661 (see attached document: 36C10B19Q0661). The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Hampton VA Medical Center Nursing Services has a requirement for the procurement of 200 Brand name Vocera B3000N Dual Band Communication Badges, 200 device licenses, 400 batteries and accompanying accessories to replace old badges and expand capability. Equipment shall include 2-Year Warranty Protection. The warranty terms and conditions shall cover parts and labor / repair on-site. An On-Site contractor is available to provide installation and configure the equipment; therefore, installation is not required by vendor; only delivery of the hardware and associated warranty services. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 334220. This solicitation shall close on August 30, 2019 at 12PM NOON EST.
