Synopsis for Request for Quote for 36C10B19Q0538 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Procurement, Acquisition and Logistics, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, New Jersey, intends to enter into a contract on a basis of other than full and open competition for the renewal of Statistical Analysis Software (SAS) annual maintenance in order to provide the statistical analysis capabilities required by VA Genomic Informatics System for Integrative Science (Genisis). The TAC intends to award a sole source Firm-Fixed Price contract to Executive Information Systems (EIS), LLC, located at 6901 Rockledge Dr., Suite 600, Bethesda, Maryland. The Statutory Authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 6.302-1 entitled, Only Once Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will satisfy Agency Requirements. The estimated date of award for this action is October 1, 2019. The period of performance shall be October 1, 2019 through March 1, 2019 followed by four (4) 12-month option periods, if exercised. Commercial acquisition procedures will be used. The primary North American Industry Classification System code is 541519 size standard of $150 Employees. This notification shall close on July 22, 2019 at 2PM ET.
