This is a pre-solicitation notice indicating that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price (FFP) contract is intended to be issued via the System for Award Management (www.SAM.gov) in the near future. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The definitive Request for Quote due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Procurement, Acquisition and Logistics, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), located at 23 Christopher Way, Eatontown, NJ intends to issue a solicitation for the procurement of a brand name or equal community image sharing platform and support services. This system shall operate across all Veterans Integrated Service Network 15 facilities and Community Based Outpatient Clinics for the transfer of patient images bi-directionally with non-VA community partner healthcare organizations. The TAC intends to award a FFP contract with a period of performance consisting of a 12-month base period, plus four (4) 12-month option periods to be exercised at the Government s discretion for the continuation of the community image sharing platform and support services. This requirement will be solicited as a brand name or equal, 100% small business set-aside posted to Contract Opportunities via www.SAM.gov. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541519, Other Computer Related Services, with a size standard of 150 employees. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The estimated date of award for this action is August 15, 2023. This notification shall close on July 3, 2023. All responsible sources may submit a response (electronic submission) that addresses the above information.
