Page 2 of 3 Page 1 of 3 Amendment Sources Sought Notice Patient/Guest WiFi for Dayton VA Medical Center THIS IS A Sources Sought Notice ONLY. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Office of Information & Technology desires to procure Patient/Guest WiFi for Dayton VA Medical Center. This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes - it does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ)/Invitation for Bid (IFB)/Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFQ, IFB or RFP in the future. This notice does not commit the VA to contract for any supply or service. Further, the VA is not seeking quotes, bids or proposals at this time and will not accept unsolicited proposals in response to this sources sought notice. The VA will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice. Submittals will not be returned to the responder. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ or IFB or RFP, if any is issued. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Governmentwide Point of Entry. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the Governmentwide Point of Entry for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The anticipated NAICS code is: 517311 Wired Telecommunications Carriers. SERVICE REQUIREMENTS The Department of Veterans Affairs, Dayton VA Medical Center, currently does not have patient/guest Wi-Fi in buildings 320, 330, and 410. Confidential and HIPAA compliant Wi-Fi service is needed for patients for virtual appointments and meetings as required by Dayton VA Medical Staff. This requirement will include monthly service costs, parts, installation, and maintenance. Contractor will perform all repairs and upgrades in the necessary time frame. Contract Title: 320/330/410 Patient Wi-Fi Service & Support Scope: Contractor shall provide all parts, labor, material, tools, and supervision required to provide service and support of the patient Wi-Fi system at the Dayton VA Medical Center buildings 320/330/410. Specific Tasks: Provide a minimum of 1G internet service Provide annual licensing and support for equipment Provide monthly maintenance and support Provide programming and testing Performance Monitoring: All work will be inspected by COR Security Requirements: Contractor personnel will be required to have VA access badges or be escorted by VA personnel at all times. Government-Furnished Equipment (GFE)/Government-Furnished Information (GFI): N/A Risk Control: All work to be done in compliance with OSHA standards and all other governing regulations associated in the elevator trade. Place of Performance 4100 W. 3rd St. Dayton, OH 45428 Period of Performance: 12 months Installation completed within 90 days of award. Delivery Schedule: All work to be completed during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 0800-1630 except federal holidays. RESPONSES The proposed action is for a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) Firm-Fixed-Price task order to be issued against a GSA Federal Supply Schedule for Patient/Guest WiFi at the Dayton VA Medical Center.
