The activity proposes the issuance of a sole-source delivery order against Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract SPE2D1-19-D-0018 awarded to Medtronic USA, Inc. for a surgical navigation system upgrade. The StealthStation S8 surgical navigation system is a multifunctional device that provides better technology and clear visualization, helping to guide the surgical team while performing spinal and neurosurgery. The navigation system allows neurosurgical planning and offers both optical and electromagnetic tracking. The system can also integrate with external devices, such as microscopes, ultrasounds and O-arm systems.
