INTRODUCTION The Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC) anticipates soliciting proposals and subsequently awarding a Single Award, Firm-Fixed-Price purchase order for patient lifts in support of the new Ambulatory Care Clinic opening in Omaha, NE. Please note this is being issued in connection with Request for Information (RFI) 36A77620Q0054. DESCRIPTION Veteran Affairs Nebraska-Western Iowa Healthcare System (VANWIHCS) has a requirement to purchase with an authorized vendor to supply, deliver AND INSTALL the item(s) identified in the attached Statement of Work (SOW). This is in support of a brand name or equal. This requirement is in support of the activation of VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Healthcare System Ambulatory Care Center. The new Ambulatory Care Center has the need for overhead patient lifts for PACT, PreOp and Recovery, Radiology, and Women Veterans Clinical Service. The Hill-Rom Liko Lift is the basis for design. ADMINISTRATIVE The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13. The solicitation will be advertised unrestricted. The applicable NAICS code is 339113 with a size standard of 750 Employees. The solicitation will be issued on or about February 13, 2020 for approximately 21 calendar days. Offerors will be required to submit their offers electronically via email. This notice is not a request for competitive offers. Questions of a technical nature will not be answered as part of this notice; however, all general questions may be submitted in writing to the issuing office by the due date and time indicated in the RFQ via email at michelle.rhodes@va.gov. Telephone calls will not be accepted. The VA reserves the right to use only Contract Opportunities via the internet, to provide notification of any amendments to this notice and the subsequent issuance of the solicitation.
