The Program Contracting Activity Central (PCAC), Office of Capital Asset Management Engineering and Services (OCAMES) - National Activations Office (NAO) intends to issue a brand name solicitation requesting Carl Zeiss brand, 266002-1170-747-PRO, Zeiss OS, HFA3 Model 860 with Liquid Trial Lens, Releye, Kinetic, GPA, Head Track, Gaze Track, Printer and Table. This procurement is for Brand Name in accordance with FAR 13.106(b), where acquisitions conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures are exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, but still require a justification using the format of FAR 6.303-2. The NAICS code for this procurement is 339112 and the Small Business Administration Size Standard is 1,000 employees. This notice of intent to is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any responsible source who believes it is capable of meeting the requirements may submit a quotation with manufacturer cut sheets, which may be considered by the agency, only if received by the closing date and time of this notice. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to proceed as a brand name requirement based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
